AJF BASTARDO: ALL OR NOTHING IN BELGIUM

Men’s team of Associação de Jovens da Fonte do Bastardo, undefeated leader of the Portuguese I Division, will play this Wednesday, at Belgium, Euphony Asse-Lennik the return match for CEV Challenge Cup Qualification 2nd round.

In the 1st leg, the Azorean side lost at the tie-break (2-3) at Vitorino Nemésio Sports Complex, Vitória Beach, Terceira Island of Azores, and need now to edge the Belgian team by 3-0 or 3-1 in order to advance in the cup. If the win comes only in the 5th set, a Golden Set is to be disputed.

The winner of this round will play Volejbal Brno (Czech Rep.) in the round of 32.

Regarding Rui Santos and Paulo Saraiva’s Chênois Genève Volleyball I, the swiss host the return match this Thursday, versus Parnu VC (Estonia) being in the same situation as Fonte Bastardo.

For CEV Challenge Cup – Women, Norwegian Stod Volley Steinkjer, coached by André Sá, Carlos Ferreira and Pedro Santos, plays this Wednesday at home the return match against Greek OPE Rethymno and have necessarily to win in order to advance.

Nuno Teixeira – Chaumont VB (France) x Chev Diekirch (Luxemburg), on November 27, Challenge Cup Qualification Round -Men.

Raquel Portela – Winner of Sagres Neuchatel (Switzerland) x Apeldoorn (The Netherlands) x ZOK Jedinstvo (Bosnia&Herzgovina), to be scheduled,for Challlenge Cup - Women.

Ricardo Ferreira – TV Ingersol Buhl (Germany) x Bre Banca Cuneo (Italy), on December 4, for CEV Cup Round of 16 - Men.
