2014 WCH: FRIENDLIES
WITH SPAIN ON DECEMBER
The Men’s National Team will be at training camp from December 16-31, to prepare its participation for the 2014 World Championship European Qualification 3rd round – Pool J.
The coaching staff, lead by Hugo Silva, has already disclosed the 28 pre-called to play list.
Three friendly matches against Spain are to be played on December 28, 29 and 30 at Madrid, as part of this preparation. The National Team will return to Portugal on December 31, where two training sessions are scheduled before departing to Nis, Serbia, to play the home team, Slovenia and Macedonia, from January 3-5.
The final called to play list will be disclosed on the first week of December.

Pool I (Opava, Czech Rep.): Bulgaria, Czech Rep., The Netherlands
and Cyprus
Pool J (Nis, Serbia): Serbia, Portugal, Slovenia and Macedonia
Pool K (Ludwigsburg, Germany): Germany, Turkey, Estonia and
Croatia
Pool L (Nantes, France): France, Spain, Belgium and Belarus.
Pool M (Poprad, Slovakia): Finland, Slovakia, Greece and Ukraine
The winner of each pool as well as the second ranked teams, will qualify for the final stage to take place at Poland from September 3-21.
The National Team, head coached by Hugo Silva and assisted by Carlos Prata, continues to practice at the Carolina Michaelis School facilities.
