EDUARDA LISBOA: "WE CAME
TO CONQUER THE CHAMPIONSHIP"

Eduarda Santos has a genuine Portuguese name, but is the new Brazilian beach volleyball top prospect and a promise for the 2016 Olympic Games, which will be held in her home country.

With only 14 years old, Eduarda has been adding successes in beach volleyball, achieving the first place at the School World Championship (Italy) and the silver medal at the FIVB Beach Volleyball U23 World Championships (Poland) competitions that took place this year. [See Competition]

Now, at the FIVB Beach Volleyball U19 World Championships, the young Brazilian assumes that they came to win:
"We came here to win the World Championship. If all goes well, we'll be champions. This has been a good experience, we have three wins in a tournament with a very good level, with strong teams and we put our faith in God that everything will go right.
Taina [Silva Bigi] and I are playing well, it is a wonderful feeling.
The U23 World Championships experience was very important for someone aging only 14. But I think that age is not the most important factor, the most important is our mind ". [Watch Video]
