2013 WC: PORTUGAL BEATS
LATVIA AND DENMARK

The Junior National Team – Boys, coached by António Guerra and Ricardo Rocha ended today its participation in the 2013 World Championship Qualification with a victory over Latvia in three sets (3-0: 25-14, 25-21, 25-19).

Hugo Oliveira and José Gomes (POR) were the match’s top scorers with 11 points each.
On its turn, the Junior National Team – Women, beat Denmark by 3-1 (25-20, 22-25, 25-17, 25-19) in the Pool A second day of competition, being held at Subotica, Serbia.

Trine Kjelstrup (DEN), was the match top scorer with 19 points, while Maria João Tavares (11 points) top scored for Portugal.
