Nuno Pinheiro’s Tours VB beat once more Paris Volley, this time in three sets (3-0: 25-17, 25-17, 25-22), thus winning the French championship title. The French Pro A League ended very well for Tours, as the club’s 4th championship title was celebrated at home with 3000 fans that attended the match. The Portuguese setter recorded two points for his team [ Nuno Pinheiro’s Resumé] Tours won the championship in the seasons of 2012/2013, 2011/12, 2009/10 and 2003/04.
João José’s VFB Friedrichshafen was not so lucky, as its team lost at
home against Berlin Recycling Volleys (2-3:
23-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-22, 11-15) in the 4th match of
Bundesliga 1 Playoff Final, thus ending the season with the 2nd rank
in the competition. As a reminder, Valdir Sequeira’s SK Posojilnica Aich/Dob won recently the Austrian Championship, defeating in the final Hypo Tirol VB. |
