The Championship Playoff, between SL Benfica and SC Espinho, official dates were already announced.
The first two matches are schedule to April 20 at Pavilhão N.º 2 of SL
Benfica – 16h30 (Lisbon) and April 27 at the Sports Hall – 17h00
(Espinho). Since 2004/2005, season that ended with SL Benfica claiming the title for the last time, against SC Espinho, these two teams clinched a Playoff spot for 3 and 6 times respectively, being 5 Espinho’s championships won against Benfica. Play-off Finals (historic)

Pico hosts Women’s The Championship Playoff – Women will be decided by the defending champions, Clube Desportivo Ribeirense and Leixões Sport Clube. The first match is scheduled to April 20 (19h00 Azores), while the second is due for April 28 – 17h00 at Nave Ilídio Ramos (Matosinhos). If necessary, the third and final match will be played again at Azores on May 4 at S. Roque of Pico Hall – 19h00 [See Calendar]. The Azorean were finalists in the last 6 seasons, but only in 2010-2011 they were able to end the reign of CA Trofa, winning two back-to back championships: In 2010-2011 by edging CA Trofa (2-0) and 2011-2012 beating GDC Gueifães (2-1). Leixões SC won the championship title for 15 times, being the last one conquered in the season 1991-1992. CD Ribeirense achievements: I Division National Championship (2) and Cup of Portugal (4).
