The Portuguese who play in foreign clubs continue with good performances, as Tours keeps defending its title, Friedrichshafen is one win away from reaching the Playoff Final and Stod which is now closer to the leader.

In Germany, João José’s VFB Friedrichshafen has beaten twice Generali Haching 3-1 (25-17, 17-25, 25-17, 25-21) and 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-23) and it’s now one victory away from reaching Bundesliga 1 Playoffs Final.
The Portuguese middle scored 6 and 7 points respectively, and plays again tomorrow (April 10) in the semi-final 3rd match.
On its turn, Marcel Gil’s RWE Volleys Bottrop keeps standing alone at the top of Bundelsiga 2 North, despite having been downed by Rumelner TV (1-3: 23-25, 25-19, 21-25, 22-25).

Nuno Pinheiro’s Tours VB will meet Narbonne at the Pro A Playoffs Semi-Finals, after beating Rennes at the Quarter-Finals (2-1). 1st match (2-3: 25-16, 25-22, 22-25, 13-25, 9-15), 2nd match (3-0: 25-18, 25-22, 25-18) 3rd match (3-0: 25-16, 25-22, 25-20).
The Portuguese setter scored 2, 4 and 6 points respectively.
André Lopes’ Chaumont BV 52, was eliminated from the Playoffs by losing the two matches against Narbonne 1-3 (27-29, 25-19, 23-25, 20-25) and 2-3 (23-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-22, 13-15).
The Portuguese scored 9 and 15 points respectively. Still in France, Carlos Teixeira’s Stade Poitevin Volley Beach climbed to the 3rd rank of Nationale 1 Playoff, after downing PUC Volley-Ball (3-1: 23-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-22).

In Norway, Stod Volley Steinkjer, coached by André Sá, now ranks 2nd in the Elite Division with the same points as the leader, after beating Koll (3-0: 25-12, 25-9, 25-17) and Oslo (3-0: 25-13, 30-28 e 25-18) in straight sets.

It was end of the line for Núria Silva and Bonémia Gomes’ UCAM Volley Murcia, after losing the third match of the Spanish League Playoffs Semi-Finals against Nuchar Tramek Murillo (0-3: 16-25, 25-27, 21-25).

Rui Santos’ Chênois Volleyball Club lost to TV Schonenwerd (2-3: 21-25, 25-18, 25-23, 24-26, 9-15), the first Swiss League Playoff match. The second game is set to April 10, while the third (if necessary) will be played on April 13.
