ALENTEJO IN MOTION
WITH GIRA-VOLEI...
 

The Alentejo Volleyball Association (AVAL) initiated last month the outdoor competition season, establishing partnerships with city halls to enhance Gira-Volei in the Alentejo region.

The official start took place at Castro Verde, with three competitions which involved 9th scholar year students of EB 2,3 School (March 11), Castro Verde High School (yesterday) and 1.º CEB students today.

Also today, AVAL is presente at São Teotónio EB 2,3 School during all afternoon, with an event that gathers about 150 young athletes.

On Saturday, AVAL will start its I Regional Tour to clubs and centers [Regulation]

April 5 will mark the begining of its participation in the organization of Inter-Schools Meeting of the Regional Tour, which will have the objective to find talented prospects and motivate the youngsters in the sport.

Preparations for the Gira-Volei Regional Meeting at Mértola, on April 19 are already underway and until that time the ball will keep flying!
