GIRA-VOLEI HOLIDAY CAMP
AT FREIXO DE ESPADA À CINTA
 

The Portuguese Volleyball Federation along with Freixo de Espada à Cinta City Hall, will promote the 2013 Gira-Volei Holiday Camp in this village of Bragança, on the upcoming days of March 18-21.

Like in previous years, this Holiday Camp will privilege the children of the Northeast region of Portugal, due to strictly economic reasons, as explained by Leonel Salgueiro, Gira-Volei National Coordinator.

“This Holiday Camp will be addressed to the youngsters who live in the Bragança area, despite we welcome all those interested in participate, but as obvious, those who do will have a higher cost to travel here”, stated Salgueiro.

“We organised the 2008 Gira-Volei Holiday Camp at Miranda do Douro, which left a feeling of nostalgia in the participants. Now we have returned to Bragança area with activities that go beyond Volleyball.
The program will include painting, historic center visits and maybe a boat ride at Congira. One of our objectives is to show the beautiful landscape of Freixo de Espada à Cinta, as well as discovering new locations and establish new friendships”, said the National Coordinator.

At the same time, this region will also host the “2013 Easter Volleyball Tournament” will be played by the youth teams of Ala Nun'Álvares de Gondomar, SL Benfica, SC Espinho and Voleibol Clube de Viana.
