Haching, one of the favorites to win the national title, alongside
Friedrichshafen and defending champions Berlin Recycling Volleys.
Marcel Gil’s RWE Volleys Bottrop keeps on rolling after another win for
Bundesliga 2 North, this time against TSV Giesen/48 Hildesheim (3-1:
27-25, 16-25, 25-23 e 25-21).
Tânia Duarte’s VG Wiwa Hamburg kept the 7th place in the standings of
Germany’s Regional North – Women, after beating Hummelsbutteler SV (3-2).
In France, Nuno Pinheiro’s Tours VB won in straight sets (3-0:
25-21, 25-21 e 25-16) in Paris, and continues to stand alone at the
top of League Pro A.
André Lopes’ Chaumont Volley-Ball 52 Haute Marne lost in the tie break (2-3:
28-30, 25-18, 25-17, 22-25 e 13-15) in Nantes, and sits at 9th place
now.
Carlos Teixeira’s Stade Poitevin Volley Beach emerged victorious on its
trip to Amicale Laique de Caudry (3-1:
25-18, 25-21, 20-25 e 25-20), and took advantage of Saint-Louis
Neuweg Omnisports’ defeat to claim the first place in Nationale 1 - Pool
B. On its turn, Asul Lyon Volley of Renata Guerreiro, which leads Nationale 3 Pool B, claimed its 7th consecutive win, the first non-straight sets, against Bois D'Arcy (3-1: 25-13, 25-8, 22-25 e 25-10).
In Italy, Gulinelli and Ferreira’s BCC-NEP Castellana Grotte, kept the
11th place of Serie A1, after sustaining a heavy loss (0-3: 22-25,
18-25 e 25-27) against Itas Diatec Trentino. In Poland, Tiago Violas’ Jastrzebski Wegiel SA defeated Delecta Bydgoszcz (3-2: 25-21, 29-31, 25-23, 14-25 e 15-9) thus keeping its 6th place in the standings of Plus Liga, while in Norway, Stod Volley Steinkjer, coached by André Sá, beat Forde 3-1 (25-12, 25-16, 21-25 e 25-17) on Saturday, and suffered its first loss of the season at the hands of BSI (1-3: 25-22, 19-25, 20-25 e 17-25), current 2nd ranked team of Elite Division – Women. Stod sits at 4th place now but with two games less than the 2nd and 3rd placed teams.
In Switzerland, Rui Santos’ Chênois Volleyball Club beat Lausenne UC I (3-2:
25-16, 15-25, 25-23, 26-28 e 15-13), and kept its 6th place in the
standings of the Swiss League.
In Spain, Núria Lopes da Silva and Bonémia Gomes’ UCAM Voley Murcia kept
the 5th place in the standings of Women Volleyball Superleague,
following its victory over Valeriano Allés Menorca (3-2:
25-14, 25-18, 23-25, 23-25 e 18-16).
