CEV CUP: WEGIEL ONE STEP CLOSER
TO THE QUARTER-FINALS
 

Tiago Violas Jastrzebski Wegiel SA made a step forward to advance to the CEV Cup quarter-finals by downing Maliye Milli Pyango Ankara (3-1: 25-15, 25-14, 24-26 e 25-17) in the first leg match. If Wegiel defeats the Turkish in the return match, scheduled for November 21, Violas team will encounter the victor of Isku Tampere (Finland) vs. Schelde-N. Precura Antwerp (Belgium).

Tonight, João José’s German team VFB Friedrichshafen will play in Belgium against Knack Roeselare, for the Champions League, while Norwegian Stod Volley, coached by André Sá, will face Obuda Vasas Budapest in Hungary
