IN A BRILLIANT 7TH PLACE

Pedro Rosas and Rui Moreira clinched an excellent 7th place in CEV Beach Volleyball satellite in Umag (Croatia). The Portuguese added another 50 points to their European ranking.

Depois de perderem o primeiro encontro contra a dupla Russa, , por 0/2 (21/23 e 15/25), Rosas e Moreira venceram os três jogos seguintes contra: Bissig-Beyeler (SUI) por 2/0 (21/13 e 21/14), Hupfer-Leeb (AUT) por 2/0 (21/13 e 21/17) e Kissling-Schnider (SUI) (equipa que estava em terceiro lugar no ranking desta prova) por 2/1 (21/18, 16/21 e 17/15). A dupla Portuguesa viria a perder contr a os Austríacos, Kunert-Petutschnig por 0/2 (16/21 e 17/21).
Aftter losing the first match against the Russian team Bykanov-Karpukhin by 0/2 (21/23 and 15/25) Rosas and Moreira won the 3 next matches: Bissig-Beyeler (SUI) by 2/0 (21/13 and 21/14), Hupfer-Leeb (AUT) by 2/0 (21/13 and 21/17) and Kissling-Schnider (SUI) (ranked 3rd in this event) by 2/1 (21/18, 16/21 and 17/15).
