The Men's team of SL Benfica won the Cup of Portugal by 3-1 (21/25 25/12, 25/16 and 25/15) against AA Espinho in the Final, at the Pavilhão Multidesportos de Coimbra, which had an excellent human frame. At the start of this match it was regarded a minute of silence in memory of Marco Ruel the captain of the team AD Machico who died on the 27th of March.
